Air Contractors, one of the ASL Aviation Group’s passenger and cargo airlines, was recently presented with an Airbus Award for Operational Excellence of the A300 B4 Freighter at an A300/A310 Family Symposium held in Istanbul, Turkey.

    The award was presented to the airline with the best dispatch reliability of the B4 freighter. Commenting on this achievement Hugh Flynn, ASL’s Group Chief Executive Officer said, “It is a great recognition of the efforts of the Air Contractors Pilots, Engineers and Ground Operations staff in ensuring that the A300B4 remains a reliable platform for our customers.”

    Air Contractors’ 12 A300 B4 aircraft are in service for DHL’s European end of year peak flying period and have proven their reliability and value in the recent CAT III weather conditions.
